The Victorian Government is improving car parking at key stations across the network experiencing high demand.
We are upgrading the car park at Sunbury Station because of the growing demand for car parking and increasing number of public transport users in the area.
More than 300 new spaces will be built in an extended multi-deck car park on the western side of the station.
This upgrade will:
- deliver more than 300 new spaces to ease parking congestion
- improve connectivity to the station
- improve access for people of all abilities.
We are in the very early stages of planning and we are committed to keeping the community informed as the project progresses.
We are planning for broader community consultation and feedback sessions in early 2019.
This project is part of the Victorian Government’s $60 million commitment to providing more than 2,000 new and upgraded car parking spaces across Victoria.
