Report graffiti

Most of our railway land, assets and buildings are leased to the public transport operators, and they are responsible for maintaining the assets leased to them. 

How you report graffiti on trains and trams, at stations or in the rail corridor depends on where the graffiti is located.  


Metropolitan trains and stations

For graffiti on metropolitan trains and stations or in the metropolitan rail corridor, contact Metro Trains Melbourne on 1800 800 007 from 6am-midnight daily (all night on Fridays and Saturdays) or complete their online contact form.


Trams, tram stops and depots 

For graffiti on trams, tram stops and at depots, contact Yarra Trams on 1800 800 007 from 6am-midnight daily (all night Fridays and Saturdays) or or email feedback@yarratrams.com.au

 

Regional trains and stations

For graffiti on regional trains and stations or in the regional rail corridor, contact V/Line on 1800 800 007 from 6am-midnight daily (all night Fridays and Saturdays).

Unused railway land  

Contact VicTrack at customer.service@victrack.com.au or on (03) 9619 8889 from 9am-5pm weekdays. 


Land or property adjoining the rail corridor 

Graffiti removal on private property that abuts a rail asset (including fences and walls on the rail corridor) is the responsibility of the private owner. Graffiti removal on council-owned land is the responsibility of the relevant local council.
