Wodonga Revitalisation Project
|
Central Wodonga will be transformed into a vibrant place to work, shop, meet people and do business under a draft VicTrack plan for development of the city’s railway land unveiled today. VicTrack’s plan involves the realignment of existing roads and creation of a new town square, new office and retail space and a new transport hub near the existing station.
Under the plan, Elgin Boulevard will be straightened and Watson and Smythe Streets extended to South Street.

Camberwell Station Precinct Development
|
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal has approved plans for the development of the
Camberwell station precinct by Tenterfield, VicTrack’s preferred developer. Key features
of the project, called ‘The Place’ include:
- The creation of a new public plaza opening onto Burke Road
- Improved access to station platforms via the plaza
- Improved security for commuters and residents
- Development of 118 residential apartments and office and retail opportunities
- Preservation of the heritage station and footbridge
VicTrack and Tenterfield will now work to finalise the details of the agreement to allow the project to proceed. Please
