We have upgraded the Broadmeadows Station precinct to make it safer and easier to access for commuters and pedestrians.
The upgrades have improved connectivity and facilities at the station, and included:
- building a new northern entrance to Platform 2 with four myki readers
- revamping the toilets
- repainting and resurfacing the pedestrian underpass.
Landscaping was carried out to make the precinct more inviting.
As part of the upgrade, we also improved the intersection at Dimboola Road and Pascoe Vale Road. This included closing the slip-way and creating a turning lane to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
