About the role

The Group Manager Innovation and New Markets is responsible for driving innovation across VicTrack and the broader transport ecosystem, identifying, validating and scaling new opportunities that improve transport and infrastructure outcomes while creating new and diversified revenue streams.

The role acts as a key external representative of VicTrack, building strategic relationships, partnerships and market opportunities across the transport, infrastructure, technology, government and investment sectors.

The Group Manager Innovation and New Markets, working with the Transformation Office and Feasibility Hub, will lead early stage concept development, feasibility and pilots, particularly where innovation improves asset management, increases revenue or supports transport network performance, and transitions proven initiatives into the appropriate delivery or commercial pathways for scale and implementation.

The role coordinates, enables and shapes innovation initiatives beyond traditional transport delivery boundaries, to expand VicTrack’s role within the broader infrastructure ecosystem.

Position status: 3-year PESES-1 contract

About the role

The Infrastructure Officer – Facilities is responsible for ensuring that all telecommunications and network facilities, at all data centres, communications equipment rooms including telecommunication infrastructure, are maintained in accordance with VicTrack and statutory and/or legislative requirements.

This position is responsible to develop initiatives to increase performance and cost efficiencies and also review and recommend enhancements to existing maintenance practices.

In addition, the position will conduct site inspections and audits across VicTrack’s Telecommunications infrastructure as directed.

The role will support the Capability team to ensure relevant, contemporary and outcome-focused initiatives are delivered and embedded in line with strategic objectives, vision, values and mission.

About the role

As a key member of the VicTrack Network Management Centre’s (NMC) Security Desk, the NMC Operator is responsible for VicTrack infrastructure security and monitoring. The
position also provides monitoring services to transport customer CCTV at stations, logging and actioning level crossing faults and recording and reporting bridge strikes.

This position ensures incoming and outgoing calls are handled in an efficient and effective manner, these may include calls from internal and external clients.

The NMC Operator is responsible for delivering a high standard of service to VicTrack and its customers.

The NMC provides a 24-hour, seven days a week service (including weekends and public holidays). The NMC Operator will be required to work a rotating shift roster.
