VicTrack is a Victorian Government Agency, and is bound by the Victorian Fair Jobs Code.
The Fair Jobs Code is an important change to the way industry does business with the Victorian Government. It was launched by the Minister for Industry Support and Recovery on 10 August 2022.
The Fair Jobs Code came into effect on 1 December 2022, forming a key part of the government’s procurement and grants framework.
The code applies to suppliers bidding for goods, services and construction procurements worth $3 million or more, and businesses applying for significant business expansion grants of $500,000 or more where new jobs are a key deliverable.
The code also applies to subcontractors delivering work worth $10 million or more on procurements of $20 million or more.
The code introduces two new requirements:
