The former Caulfield City Rifle Club has been transformed into an exciting new restaurant and bar.
Bang Bang at the Rifle Club was launched on Tuesday 31 January 2017, and allows commuters and the local community to enjoy a dining experience on the doorstep of Elsternwick Station.
Guests at the launch included Local Member and Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade Philip Dalidakis, and VicTrack’s General Manager Property Group, Peter Chau.
Our $2 million project was a collaboration with Glenhuntly Rifle Pty Ltd and Six Degrees Architects, with a united goal of revitalising the Glenhuntly Road shopping strip.
The existing heritage building was refurbished and expanded, and designed to complement Elsternwick Plaza.
The restaurant’s ground floor frontage opens up onto the plaza, and ramps have been installed to enable wheelchair and pram access.
The Elsternwick project is one of our property development projects, which are designed to make better use of transport land and buildings to revitalise station precincts.
Bang Bang at the Rifle Club is the latest venture from the Riverland Group, who are behind the revitalisation of some of Victoria’s most iconic sites including The Boatbuilder’s Yard, Pilgrim Bar and Wye River General Store.
