Pamela Irving ’s community art piece ‘Stationary Faces’ has taken out honours at the 2012 Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria Sustainable Cities and Clean Beaches Awards. Pamela’s community artwork won the ‘Community Action’ category at the recent award’s night.
Stationary Faces, which covers the walls of the Patterson station underpass, features the faces of local residents, famous people and Melbourne icons. It was created by Bentleigh community members and via contributions from around the world.
