VicTrack worked with Bendigo Tramways, the City of Greater Bendigo and Regional Development Victoria on a $10.7 million expansion of Bendigo Tramways.
The expansion was completed in May 2024, and has created additional storage space for Bendigo Tramways as well as upgraded workshop equipment to restore heritage rolling stock.
Bendigo Tramways now has the capacity to restore more trams, creating more jobs and generating economic activity in central Victoria.
