Pawel Pospieszalowski
Team Leader Field Operations

Pawel has applied private sector experience and knowledge to projects with public impact.

When I first explored the opportunity to work at VicTrack, I was immediately drawn to the scale, purpose and real-world impact of its work.

As the custodial owner of Victoria’s rail land and infrastructure, VicTrack plays a central role in shaping the state’s transport future. Its work spans everything from managing a statewide transport telecommunications network to optimising transport land and delivering property development projects.

The chance to contribute to work that connects communities and leaves a lasting public legacy was incredibly compelling.

Before joining VicTrack, I built my career from the ground up, starting as a technician before moving into supervisory and leadership roles within other telecommunications industry organisations.

Working across network deployment, construction, maintenance and fault resolution gave me a strong practical foundation and a clear appreciation for the people, planning and decisions that keep critical infrastructure running.

That experience continues to shape how I lead today: with authenticity and a focus on bringing people together to deliver meaningful outcomes.

VicTrack has been incredibly supportive of my professional development, giving me opportunities that have strengthened my confidence, broadened my skills and helped me grow as a leader.

Every day at VicTrack brings something new, and that variety is what keeps me curious, motivated and constantly learning. I’m proud to be part of a team that is dedicated, passionate and committed to making a difference. Their drive inspires me to bring positivity, perspective and momentum to the work we do together.

VicTrack has been incredibly supportive of my professional development, giving me opportunities that have strengthened my confidence, broadened my skills and helped me grow as a leader.

Acting multiple times as Field Operations Manager has been a particularly rewarding experience, allowing me to step up, support the team at a broader level and create opportunities for others to develop their own leadership capability.

Through VicTrack’s Learning and Development Program, I completed a Diploma of Leadership and Management and am currently undertaking a Diploma of Project Management.

I also participate in the Mentoring Program, where I have had the opportunity to learn from an experienced mentor who challenged my thinking, shared valuable guidance and helped me apply fresh perspectives in my role. These experiences continue to sharpen the way I lead, communicate and support the people around me.

I’m excited about what’s ahead because there is always more to learn, more to contribute and more ways to make a positive impact. I want to keep building on my experience, supporting my team and contributing to work that matters.
